Frequently Asked Questions
— I don’t live in any of the neighborhoods on your website; can you still help me?
Absolutely. Travel fees take into account and are applied for one-way trip times: $25 for drives over 20min, $40 for drives over 40min. Cash, check, Zelle or Venmo are accepted.
— How do I prepare for my consultation?
After we schedule an appointment, we will communicate regarding specific needs or areas you would like to address. You will always receive a text confirmation the evening before your appointment to confirm the time for the next day.
— Do you accept insurance?
Yes! We work with most insurance plans. We are in network with Aetna. Additionally, we work with The Lactation Network (TLN) for full coverage of lactation support, and for Cigna clients, we work through Wildflower for full coverage. To find out if your plan is eligible, click the “check your coverage” button located on our home page or 'Let's Work Together' page. Checking your coverage through TLN is quick and easy. Clients usually know within a couple hours.
If your plan is NOT approved by TLN, then your visits will be out-of-network and self-pay. We are partnered with someone who can submit out-of-pocket claims on your behalf!
— How do I pay you?
If you are paying out-of-pocket or for a travel fee, you can pay at the time of the appointment via cash, check, Zelle, or Venmo. If you would like help submitting an out-of-network claim to your insurance after our visit, we can work with our Biller to do so. If you prefer to submit the claim on your own, we will provide you with a coded Superbill that you may use to submit for potential reimbursement from your insurance company.
— What is a Superbill?
A Superbill is a detailed invoice with the information your insurance company needs to verify the healthcare service we provide, in order to consider a reimbursement for you. As an out-of-network provider, we do not know reimbursement amounts. It may benefit you to get pre-approval first.
—Do you take Medicaid/Medicare
We are not currently registered as Medicare/Medicaid providers, but hope to be soon! (Updated July 2025)
— What if I have questions before scheduling?
